FROZEN SHOULDER TREATMENT

Stiffness and soreness in the shoulder joint are symptoms of a frozen shoulder, also known as adhesive capsulitis. Range-of-motion exercises are a component of frozen shoulder treatment. Corticosteroids and anesthetic drugs may occasionally be administered into the joint as part of a therapeutic plan. In very rare cases, arthroscopic surgery is required to relax the joint capsule and allow for additional motion. Typically, signs and symptoms start out mildly before getting worse. In most cases, after one to three years, symptoms grow better. In three phases, the frozen shoulder normally develops slowly i.e. Freezing stage, Frozen stage, and Thawing stage. A capsule of connective tissue surrounds the shoulder joint. This capsule around the shoulder joint becomes thicker and more constrictive, resulting in a frozen shoulder, which limits movement. Long-term shoulder immobilization raises the risk of a frozen shoulder. This could occur following surgery or an arm break. Frozen shoulder can be caused by a number of conditions, including systemic disorders, age and sex, immobility or restricted mobility, and immobility.
