Despite significant advancements in medicine over the past few decades, cancer is still the most terrifying diagnosis. People are living longer and there are more long-term cancer survivors because to better therapies. One of the most prevalent, dreaded, and untreated issues for cancer patients is pain. Cancer itself or its treatments, such as surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, can both cause pain. In 30–40% of chemotherapy patients, peripheral neuropathy is brought on by the medication. Pain relief cannot be thought of in isolation. These components of "total pain" must be taken into account.
